Holy shit, the days are flying by fast as we’re approaching our 3rd and final show in Sioux Falls for the summer. We’re wicked excited to be headlining the 605 Summer Classic at 8th & Railroad along side some of the best musicians our city has to offer. There will be a fantastic stage set up provided by our good friend Adam Ellsworth at Get Sound, beer and local food vendors, an outdoor bout by our beloved Sioux Falls Roller Dollz, along with live music from 8 bands for only 10 bucks. All ages are welcome. Ridiculous. We’re bringing the horn section and back up singers with us again as well as a few other surprises including some brand new material. Advance tickets are available at thecollectiveeffortsunion.com, both Last Stop CD Shops or at Ernie Novembers. Come down and have a beer with us.

This years headlining performance at Jazzfest 2010 in Sioux Falls SD was completely insane. Besides some sound issues and a few other technical difficulties we had a great time. The crowd that came out to support us was incredible and we’re very thankful. Near the end of the set during the song Think About Me someone blew off a fire extinguisher in the crowd and we ended up getting shut down by the SFPD. We were very close to witnessing a riot, I’m glad we didn’t. Big thanks to Isaac Show, Joel Broveleit, Ken Hoyne, Ken Rahn, Thomas Hentges, Erin Toft, Megan DeBoer, Adam Ellsworth, Passenger Productions, The Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society and our incredible hometown crowd for being so enthusiastic.

Our good friend and local artist Shaine Schroeder will be doing live painting the entire evening at our performance this Friday. Shaine is good shit. Check out his website HERE and come watch him in action this Friday at Jazzfest in Sioux Falls. FREE.
